Donate Items for Homeless Veterans
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is taking decisive action to end Veteran homelessness in five years. Â All veterans at risk for homelessness or attempting to exit homelessness must have easy access to programs and services.
In observance of the 9/11 National Day of Service and Remembrance, help to support local homeless veterans transitioning to housing by donating personal care items to the Battle Creek VA Medical Center.
The following items are needed:
Kitchen Items:
- Brooms
- Cleaning supplies
- Non-perishable food
- Plates/bowls/cups
- Paper towels
- Dish soap
- Dish towels
- Wash basin
- Other kitchen cleaning supplies
Bathroom items:
- Bar soap
- Hand towels
- Bath towels
- Toilet paper
- Shower mat
- Body lotion
- Toilet bowl cleaner
- Bathroom cleaning supplies
Donation supplies can be dropped off at the following locations through September 10:
