On September 1, the Volunteer Center of Greater Kalamazoo’s leadership will announce an organizational change that has been taking shape over the last year, but culminates with a major change on September 1, 2011. The strategy will better leverage the organization’s efforts to promote greater civic engagement and increased volunteerism in the Greater Kalamazoo community.
The event will include a presentation to last approximately 15 minutes, followed by a question and answer session. The event will conclude with light refreshments, an opportunity to win prizes (including tickets to a Farm to Fork Dinner and gift card from Food Dance!) and challenge to the community to get “hands on†with volunteerism.
