Ge Outta Your Cage & Into Your City
What are these billboards all about? Well, if you live in Kalamazoo County, you might already know that you live in the ‘Zoo.’ Volunteer KalamaZOO wants to challenge everyone in the ‘Zoo’ to get out of their cage and into their communities by volunteering. It’s that simple.
Kalamazoo is an amazing community filled with amazing people that do amazing things. You can make a positive impact on the place where you live by getting involved.
Benefits of volunteering include (but are NOT limited to):
- Gaining new experiences
- Meeting new people
- Improving or learning new skills
- Gaining job experience
- It’s good for your health!
- Helping those in need
- Making cleaner neighborhoods
Remember:
Being a man or a woman is a matter of birth. Being a man or a woman who makes a difference is a matter of choice. –Byron Garrett
